So Many Religions To Not Choose From!
If so many people believe different things, how can they all be right? How can a “good” Christian be going to the same heaven as Hitler? In his mind, he was doing his god’s work. Believers of the Christian heaven and hell (let’s say, for instance) are all going heaven. The ones who are told they are going to hell (or say it casually about themselves) don’t really believe in those fables. In the Jewish religion, there is no hell spoken of explicitly. We’re all chosen! (Just closeness or distance from “god”.) So then everyone is automatically considered good and then what’s the point of these heaven and hell tales. Religions vary on this and have yet to make any sense. Some people believe if you don’t accept Jesus as your own personal savior, you are going to hell. And that’s the end of it. So if I’m a good, caring, individual who volunteers at homeless shelters and then there is a Christian who stole some money (as an example), he has preferential treatment?
Well, it’s all how we perceive it. In Hitler’s mind, he would be going to heaven. I want no part of that!

No matter what you believe there will be someone ready to consign you to some unpleasant afterworld because you don’t believe as they do. The unsteady foundation of that proclamation always ultimately rests only on one statement: “Because I said so.”
But it is our task to discover reality not to make it. When the concept of hell joins the four known forces of physics in the arena of provability then I might pay more attention to such condemnations.
