“The Creationist Concept of Kind”

A great take on the Creationist usage of kind. It’s not a scientific term, nor is its meaning specific in any way. Take a look for yourself:
One thing that occurs to me immediately after the mentioning of Noah’s Ark: Did he take one of each bug, too? I realize that there are a million arguments against the ridiculousness of believing it it to be wholly true, especially without question. Yet, it occurs to me that insects are inevitably part of the animal group. Insects are everywhere, many are too small to keep under control. Roaches live through everything! There would have been more than just a male cockroach and a female one. It just one of the many ideas that shoots holes in the Bible Thumper’s unquestioning allegiance.
