“The Creationist Concept of Kind”

A great take on the Creationist usage of kind. It’s not a scientific term, nor is its meaning specific in any way. Take a look for yourself: One thing that occurs to me immediately after the mentioning of Noah’s Ark: Did he take one of each bug, too? Most of my friends are not atheists, though agnostic to say the least. No one has proof for or...

Thank Goodness It’s Friday

Posted by on Jun 1, 2007 in Rants | 4 comments

Do theists say “F U God, It’s Monday”? Otherwise, the ol’ TGIF mantra falls short even for theists. How is it possible to thank god for one thing while not blaming him when things don’t go well. Theists will preach, “God works in mysterious ways.” That’s always any easy out. Life happens in mysterious ways. (The wording needs work, but the idea makes a lot more sense!)
