WGA strike and a writer’s t-shirt

What does the WGA strike have to do with an atheist blog? Not much. Yet I do work in the entertainment industry and very close to the Warner Bros. lot. So I took a bunch of pics because that’s what I like to do. To my surprise, I noticed the t-shirt one of the guys was wearing. Can’t make it out? How about now?

I apologize for the low quality of the second image, but I took it from far away and only later on noticed this. I’m happy to see someone standing up for something they feel strongly about. Or, in this case, two things. Just interesting… And that’s all.

Cool. I’m happy too that he’s not shy about who he is.

oh, hi tina, fancy meeting you here, lol.

I was just gonna say something I put on my blog about how kids don’t know about “god” until adults put the idea in their head.
I was told by my grandmother some god shit and when I asked where he was, i was told “up there”. Later when we went in an aeroplane I was worried about hitting god.
I also heard about a girl who was told “god loves you”, to which she said “how do you know, did he tell you?”
(A god delusionist would probably lie and say “yes”, because they would interpret their belief in god as god saying “i love you and your daughter”)

When my first husband got killed I had to tell my 3 young children. Hardest thing I ever had to do. I wasn’t religious, but I told them he went to heaven, (sounds stupid now) My daughter (who was 4) asked me if he was going to get there by airplane. Weird what you tell your kids….
