Thoughts & Choices
I felt like venting today:

To deny us the right to make our own choice
On abortion (even in the case of rape)
And which books to read-
To deny any women the right to equal pay
(especially by a women ::cringe::)
To force creationism in public schools
In science class, not in religion or philosophy
(Can we teach evolution at your place of worship?)
To desire converting
Every Jew & Muslim-
Not just in the Mid East
To the “only one true religion”
To desire a speedy end of the separation of
Church & State
To actually believe all Atheists & Agnostics
Are so immoral and depraved,
They shouldn’t even be considered “American”
We should be free to make CHOICES. No one should force one true answer on all of us.
I have absolutely no problem with Republicans. I do have a problem with Evangelical Conservatives forcing their beliefs on us, denying us our freedom of choice, which has sadly become the one of the newer Republican platforms.

Great post. I have many problems with the Republican platform, but this is certainly a big one.
Right on, Ms. Huss.
Using logic + living in Hollywood (I do too) = I dig you!
Thanks! :~)
You have to understand Evolution is just as much a theory as Creationism. They both are “theories” (even though by the definition they both are NOT theories) as to how the world was created. Neither has been proven or disproven.
And no you can’t teach evolution at their place of worship because SCHOOLS ARE PUBLIC AND CHURCHES ARE NOT.
If you want to start your own church that teaches evolution that’s fine…otherwise if we are teaching evolution then creationism has to be taught because they are both two alternative approaches to the becoming of the world…
