Stuff going on

They’ll be live changes happening soon. I do not like my current template.

Also, I think I got the comment issue under control, but I cannot export/import my most recent Intense Debates comments because the plugin froze.

EDIT: [03.26.2009] I like my current template and the change/move is almost complete. But the Intense Debate plugin is still frozen, even after uninstalling and reinstalling. I’ll probably have to manually copy over any missing comments. I’m also having to repost all videos and change tags and categories.

EDIT: [03.27.2009] I have started reposting any comments that didn’t make it over. It seems random sometimes; some post have 1 comment here and 4 on my previous Blogger version. If comments seem out of order (in the sense of “most recent”), that would be why. I’m keeping all comments for any particular post in the same order, as well as reposting the URL, but if I don’t have your email, I apologize, but your image won’t show. I’m tired of waiting for Intense Debate Comments Support to respond.

EDIT: [03.28.2009] I finally get an email back from Intense Debate Comments Support where he asks me if I would like to use their WordPress plugin. wtf? That’s what I’m having a huge issue with! I wrote him back explaining this but I decided not to use it– at least for now. WordPress has nested comments anyhow which I hope will work on any new posts. I deactivated the Intense Debate plugin (and will soon uninstall for good). I deleted all the new comments I added and accidentally deleted the most recent from John Evo. Ooops. (fyi, I wrote him to explain I did not intend to do that.) So all that’s left is to finish organizing categories and tags, which is nearing completion.

EDIT: [03.29.2009] I’m done re-catorgizing and re-tagging. Other than a few more minor tweaks, I’d say I’m done with the redesign. :)

EDIT: [04.02.2009] The Intense Debate support team can suck a bag of dicks. Three times they asked me if I want to use their plugin, completely ignoring the fact that I said I already have it and need “support” because it doesn’t work properly. It’s as if a bot is just resending the same thing, but it is worded slightly different; it’s most likely just a careless human. (Also, they take about a week to respond.) I wound up having to repost my comments that used Intense Debate on Blogger. So, yes, there are a few comments that say they are recent but they are a bit old. I do not suggest that anyone use Intense Debate Comments because if you do have a problem, I can’t see them being helpful to anyone. Yet if their plugin works fine for you, then I guess you won’t have to deal with their Support team (or, more likely, person) and well Lucky You!

EDIT: [04.13.2009] Intense Debate Support finally emailed me back. I still do not have them yet but am waiting to find out what I have to do to. The plugin worked perfectly for The Coming Out Godless Project, so I know its not me. ;)
