Atheist billboards up in Texas?

Atheist Billboards in Texas [via Atheism Examiner]

Yes, now they are in Texas, too!

Two atheist billboards will be going up in north Texas on Monday. One will be erected in Dallas on I-35 near loop 12. The other one will be in Fort Worth on I-35 near Braswell.

The billboards are going up by the efforts of Metroplex Atheists. In addition, the group will be launching a new Web site to coincide with the billboards going up.

    Anti-religious sentiment is on the rise. Just Google "Texas Atheist" or "Alabama Atheist" and ask yourself… would there have been anything like that as recently as the 1970s?
