William Cohen happened to be there and, poor guy, had to spend the rest of the day at the CNN studio as punishment. But my main gripe is this: so this 88 year old struggling novelist goes to this museum, shoots a guard, and now we have to read his nutty writings that he posted on the web? Do they REALLY have to display these ugly, racist comments over and over and over again? Was it really necessary to do that? Did Mel Gibson make a call to CNN or something? On the bright side, I doubt if struggling novelists everywhere will try similar tactics to get their prose on the air. I was watching the breaking news on CNN at the gym today.
