Marie Curie | Understood not Feared (wallpaper)

I created this poster more recently. I am also making it available as a downloadable desktop wallpaper. :) Enjoy!

I think this is a fantastic quote:

Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less.

Marie Curie (aka Madame Curie aka Marie Skłodowska Curie); as quoted in Our Precarious Habitat, 1973 by Melvin A. Benarde

It’s a nice sentiment, don’t get me wrong, but the source totally spoils it. Marie Curie, after all, essentially died of trying to understand something she should have been afraid of.
