About
Raised (reform) Jewish, the notion of a physical Heaven & Hell as well as having a messiah (such as Jesus) was always foreign to me. I’ve always felt very connected to the Jewish culture, while lacking faith in the stories. I started blogging in 2006, mainly due to the the fact that “godless” is all-too-often equated with “immoral”.

Random Facts:
- I’m an emphatic fan of nature and space, hence my online alias Intergalactic Hussy (more »). There is a beautiful purpose to life: the wondrous process of evolution and the universe at large.
- Growing up, my mom always called me Lisa, as in Simpson. She still does sometimes. I often feel like I am – oddly enough – a combination of Lisa Simpson and Brian Griffin. OK, and a little Mort Goldman.
- I was Bat-Mitzvahed in Israel, in front of the Wailing Wall.
- I taught myself HTML & CSS while at a temp job with a lot of down time. I’m currently learning PHP.
- I don’t drink coffee; I prefer tea. I drink a lot of green tea, though I like it all, including plain ol’ iced tea. Usually, I drink it as is.
