What is a Jewmanist anyway?

I don’t really know. I suppose I do to an extent. To start off, we can break it down into its obvious components of Jewish and Humanist. However, this may be one of those cases where the sum of its parts aren’t necessarily equal to the whole. The term sort of catches on in its own right. To me, its simply funny and silly. Why did I start to use this term? Originally, this blog was entitle “Religion is Immoral” which was later changed and changed again. It just seemed too...

I met Surly Amy of Surly-Ramics

Recently, I went to a craft festival and met Surly Amy! She is very cool, pretty, and talented. I had custom ordered the atomic earrings prior to the craft festival. Then, my hubby and I went to a craft festival Amy said she’d be at. Being that my handle (I don’t use very often anymore) is Intergalactic  Hussy, I feel in love with the spacey necklace (which was purchased there). Next Stop: Vegas!

Interhuss Designs By this time next week, I’ll be in Vegas for the first full day. As you may recall, I temporarily moved to Miami. Much of what I set out to do has been accomplished and what’s left is not for me to do anything about. Another cross-country move and I’m very excited, though there’s an amalgam of bustling emotions. Now I can make all those conventions I never could. I plan on attending TAM this year but have not purchased the very pricey ticket yet. If...

Creativity and Inspiration for the Godless

Where do we get our creativity and inspiration from? It’s different for everyone. As a teen, I began writing (I also drew and painted some). I wrote many poems railing against “the system”. Yet I think it had something to do with what I could easily refer to as the Expected Steps of Life that are pushed on us by religious institutions, political figureheads, and our families. After childhood we’re all...

Godless Hollywood

As some of you may know, I moved from Los Angeles to Miami not too long ago. I grew up here so I’m no stranger. It’s almost eerily familiar. One of my main motivations for moving out west was my degree in Film Production (U of Miami, 2003) and it was much better served out there. As much as I loved (and still do) the art of making short films and other related media, I think I may have preferred to study motion graphics or web design. Still, the experience and journey is worth it...

Latest Project: Rad-shirts

So, I’ve been working on this site lately, Rad-shirts.com. There are many shirts and other products to fill your evolution and freethought needs (plus a plethora of everything else). All images were designed by myself and my husband, Eric Broze. All images were created by myself, using The Gimp of...
