A woman’s last name

What’s in a name? What’s in your name? Firstly, its what identifies you as you. What ever that is. I, like many teenagers, had issues. I suffer from anxiety and depression on a mild scale. During my teenage years, it hit me like a ton of bricks. I was a deeply dark and depressing wreck. My family was (and still is) largely opposed to any sort of psychological help. It may have caused more issues, but that’s another story. I wasn’t quite suicidal but glamorized...

Burka Barbie takes sexism in the opposite direction

Posted by on Dec 15, 2009 in Links, Rants | 0 comments

Barbie has always been known to stir up controversy. Her tiny waste, tiny feet, huge boobs, and revealing outfits have always been there to comfort young girls everywhere. Kailash “Kalau” Singh replaces bathing and brushing his teeth with a “fire bath” every evening when he stands on one leg beside a bonfire, smokes marijuana and says prayers to...

Something about professors and dominatrixes

Posted by on May 6, 2009 in Reviews | 2 comments

WoW! Read this review. Now. Though, you must be warned, its very very long. But fully worth it. Via Jen: Dripping with sex and violence? Humanist professor and a sexy dominatrix? Showing random people what atheism is really about? Hell yeah, I thought, I’ll read it! I had nothing else to do this Sunday, anyway. … I really wanted to be nice to this book, I really did. I was all ready to give it a chance and write up an honest review to help this guy out. Well, this review will be...
