Carl Sagan, Exquisite World (Wallpaper)

Using the same quote from a previous Carl Sagan image, I made this wallpaper. Also 2880 x 1800 pixels. The world is so exquisite, with so much love and moral depth, that there is no reason to deceive ourselves with pretty stories for which there’s little good evidence. Far better, it seems to me, in our vulnerability, is to look Death in the eye and to be grateful every day for the brief but magnificent opportunity that life provides. Carl...

Richard Dawkins, The Wonder Science Gives Us (Wallpaper)

I began making wallpapers the other day. Now that my art is getting more attention, I should post some. This image is 2880 x 1800 pixels. It may have caused more issues, but that’s another story. I wasn’t quite suicidal but glamorized...

Oh my Saturn!

Oh my Saturn!

I mentioned my father passed away and that my hubby and I moved to Miami from LA to aid my mother for a bit. We stopped in Vegas for two days to break up the trip. We flew and shipped the car. As you can see below, my Saturn is no more: The truck’s hydraulic breaks caught on fire and my car and six others all burned. Luckily, we only had a few things in the trunk (that no one will cover anyway). Now, I’m waiting on a check from my insurance company. Though it still won’t be...
